Hi, I'm Suraj 👋 I'm in the final year of my undergraduate studies at the University of Waterloo, pursuing a Bachelor of Computer Science. I'm also a software engineer intern at Snowflake working on FoundationDB!

Prior to my current internship, I was working on some exciting projects at Wish that helped advance a microservices architecture. Before that, I worked with the folks at OpsLevel to build out a powerful microservice catalog, resulting in a successful seed funding round.

I've also had the opportunity to dabble in research. I explored (and implemented!) novel techniques to perform equi-joins over encrypted data, under the supervision of Professor Florian Kerschbaum. Check out the resulting paper here!

Outside of work and school, I enjoy playing basketball, cooking (or at least, attempting to) and having a good time with my friends.
